Local to Indianapolis, Create Art Studio’s identity was designed to feel welcoming, handmade, and rooted in the joy of creative exploration.
Create Art Studio exists to celebrate the act of making, not just the outcome. At its heart is a belief that creativity is a shared journey: art should be accessible, freeing, expressive, and community-centered. The identity had to embody the studio’s ethos of open-ended creative play and bring a sense of approachability, curiosity, and handcrafted human touch to every interaction.

I created the hand-lettered logo and visual identity to feel playful, human, and distinctive, capturing process-oriented nature of the studio experience. The mark was created for use across signage, merchandise, and digital touchpoints to reflect a hand-made sensibility intrinsic to the brand. The identity helps communicate the studio’s welcoming, exploratory spirit, reinforcing a sense of joy and possibility for anyone who walks through its doors.
