From 2018-2026, I was the Co-Founder and Founding Creative Director at Naked & Thriving, a high-growth DTC skincare brand. I led creative transformations while helping to develop brand positioning and voice. I also led a team of designers, copywriters, and video editors. We collaborated across the organization to understand our customers to create moments of connection throughout their journeys, from awareness through advocacy.

Additionally, I wrote the graphic memoir And Now I Spill the Family Secrets (HarperOne 2021). It was selected for the Belletrist Book Club and received starred reviews from Kirkus, Publishers Weekly, Library Journal, and Booklist. My second graphic memoir, A Brief History of My Affairs, will be published with Pantheon around 2027. My writing has appeared in magazines like Creative Nonfiction, The Believer, LitHub, Ecotone, and elsewhere. I’ve been in residence at Yaddo and MacDowell.

As an illustrator, I’ve worked with clients like Macy’s, Marks & Spencer, Boston Globe, Little, Brown, Simon & Schuster, Diageo, Ogilvy, Random House, and many others.

Born and raised in Connecticut, I’m married to the fiction writer Christian Moody and we live with our kids in Indianapolis.
